What is the goal of psychotherapy?
Through psychotherapy, we learn to better understand our difficulties, patterns of behaviour, thoughts and related-emotions. The goal is to cultivate more helpful and adaptive coping strategies in order to improve our overall wellbeing, quality of life and relationships.
Clinical Approach
I work with adults struggling with diverse emotional and interpersonal difficulties including but not limited to anxiety, depression, impulsivity, and disordered eating.
My approach to psychotherapy is integrative and collaborative. I help people understand their needs, their experiences and guide them towards change. Through treatment, I integrate evidence-based psychotherapies and tailor interventions to each person's needs.
